Application
The deformed materials and castings of Hastelloy B alloy are mainly used in the corrosive environment of HCI-resistant and moisture-resistant HCI gas, and are widely used in other reducing acidic media for their good corrosion resistance. The deformed alloy can be used to manufacture containers, container linings, pipes, tower troughs, etc. in chemical processing, and to manufacture pumps and valves using castings. In addition, due to its medium activation properties and high emission capability, its ultra-thin ribbons and filaments have been successfully used as cathode materials for electron tubes.
