Effect of chromium on corrosion resistance of nickel

Figure 6-2 shows the effect of chromium on the constant potential anodic polarization of nickel. As the chromium content increases, the critical passivation current and the blunt current of the alloy decrease, and the passivation zone becomes wider, indicating that the corrosion resistance of nickel is improved, and the alloy of 33% 01′ is in an optimum state. Secret (0) 251% alloy, although the critical passivation current is the smallest, the blunt current is far from the cut (00 ^ 33% alloy.
